Good times so early in the morning. Hair is looking great already.

Mike put on an impressive show for everyone at the comp. Dave threw an awesome comp. This year was the biggest one yet and probably the funnest.

Yesterday we started off the day at the Vanderhoof skatepark. There we met up with a bunch of local dudes from Toronto, like Dave Ghent, Guy Crawford, Kevin Chow, Collin White, Steve Kiley and more. Kevin Chow killed the bowl with effortless lines that seem to go on forever, while Guy Crawford did some huge flat spin 3s over the hip into the deep part of the bowl. I got a sick clip of it, but him and I weren’t fully satisfied so he tried it again but this time his toe clipped the copping and he fell hard on his shoulder. So Guy and Kevin left shortly after that, the rest of us continued to skate and get a few clips. A little while later, some bladers from Montreal showed up at the park. Alex, Immony, Alex Theroux, Dan Miller all got a ride with Jerry Butler in his car. So we skated at the park for a bite with them then left to skate some streets.

First we went to the bank to rail, a popular Toronto spot from back in back then day. Everyone threw down a couple nice tricks on it. Second spot was the Brown School ledges. Dan was stoked to skate it, so he went straight to work on it. After a few warm ups, he dropped a nice stylish backside backslide.

Steve Kiley offered Dan some beer money if he did a makio with a grab and a 180 out. So without hesitation and with beer on his mind, he did it and then collected his reward.

The skating ended at the ledges with an ill stunt from Leon. Sorry no pictures, but I filmed it from a couple angles and got some really nice clips. If you were there you know what he did and how crazy it was. For those of you who weren’t there, you’ll just have to wait for the video.

We made a quick stop at Mississauga skatepark and found that even bikers support IDFA. Damn son this sh*t is hot.

Traffic in Toronto sucks. People like to drive very fast in their civics and acuras, especially if they are from Italian decent. Just like Mike Vigneux, an italian that rolls fast. Just for the record Leon came up with this great description.

We’re on our way to meet up with Mike Vigneux for an exclusive hammer dropping clip getting session. We only have a couple hours so Mike will have to work quickly.
